Rina Andrea Delos Santos of Ballesteros, Cagayan, is the new Miss Philippines Earth 2026 after emerging victorious at the pageant's coronation night in Bukidnon on Saturday.
Rina earned the coveted title after standing out among 32 candidates from across the country during the competition at the Malitbog Cultural Center.
The final question challenged the contestants to explain how they would live up to the responsibility of wearing the Miss Philippines Earth crown and turn their advocacy into meaningful action.
Drawing from her work as a community tour guide, Rina said her daily experiences have prepared her to champion environmental protection and sustainable tourism.
"Mabuhay pong muli. As a community tour guide, I am not just ready for the crown, but I am ready for the environmental and global responsibility that comes with it. I [guide] every single day in working towards putting the Philippines in a position that is not just a model of sustainability and environmental stewardship, but also a destination of beauty.
"And for me, that [is] exactly what [is] love and action. Remember, love changes nothing unless it moves, and when it moves, it truly changes everything. Thank you," she said.
Also joining this year's roster of winners are Prima Joy Alamban of Tumauini, Isabela, who was named Miss Philippines-Air 2026; Alyssa Mildred Villariña of Mandaluyong City as Miss Philippines-Water 2026; Patricia Anne Nichole Bangug of Agoo, La Union as Miss Philippines-Fire 2026; and Roveelaine Eve Castillo of Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte as Miss Philippines-Ecotourism 2026.
The coronation also marked the end of Joy Barcoma's reign as Miss Philippines Earth. Unlike previous editions of the pageant, this year's ceremony did not include the customary farewell walk for the outgoing queen.
