'First Yaya' actress Cai Cortez revealed to the public that veteran actor Rez Cortez will undergo surgery for suspected liver cancer today, September 1.
First Yaya actress Cai Cortez received an outpouring of support after she revealed that her dad, veteran actor Rez Cortez, will undergo surgery today, September 1.
Yesterday, Cai shared on Instagram, “Hi po! Please help us pray for daddy's successful surgery. Dad has suspected liver cancer and he will be undergoing surgery tomorrow to remove the mass.”
Despite the health struggle of her father, the versatile actress firmly believes that he will overcome it.
“I believe that daddy is strong and his love for his apos will help him recover in no time. But i also know that our prayers and well wishes can help speed things up. Thank you."
Several celebrities offered their prayers and sent messages of support to the Cortez family including Cai's First Yaya co-stars, Pancho Magno, Kakai Bautista, and Thou Reyes.
