After his operation due to suspected liver cancer, veteran actor Rez Cortez is cleared of cancer.
First Yaya actress Cai Cortez happily announced on social media that her father, renowned actor Rez Cortez, is now cancer-free after undergoing surgery.
In a 22-second video on Instagram, Cai Cortez shared the wonderful news and said, “Thank you so much sa lahat na nagdasal at nagtanong kung kamusta si Daddy.
“But I'm so happy to announce that daddy is cancer-free! Yay more Bibo and Carmen time.”
Rez then expressed his gratitude and said, "Praise the Lord!"
Before ending the short video, the celebrity father and daughter shared a sweet moment and exchanged “I love you's”.
The versatile TV-movie actress also penned a message of gratitude in the caption, “Maraming salamat sa lahat na patuloy na nagdadasal and naguupdate sa operation ni Dad @rezcortez Thank you so much din sa lahat ng sumuporta.”
Cai's fellow celebrities such as Carmina Villarroel, Dianne Medina, and Angeline Quinto expressed their joy for the veteran actor's health progress through kind messages in the comments section.
