Caitlyn Stave accident injury from horse riding

For the first time in seven years, Caitlyn Stave suffered an injury from a horse show competition.

Kapuso actress Caitlyn Stave suffered an injury at the Kaamulan Horseshow & Competition 2025.

On Instagram, Caitlyn revealed that she broke her pinky and ring finger after she fell off the horse on the second day.

"In my 7 years of riding, I fell off a horse for the first time. Day 2, fell off again & broke my bones for the first time," she recalled in a post on Instagram.

"Fell off and broke my fall with my hand (which is exactly what you're not supposed to do), and broke my pinky and ring finger on my right hand.

"I remember being in the ambulance crying because of the pain yet still begging for them to let me finish my race."

Thankfully, Caitlyn already had a successful surgery, but the sad news is, she's going to be sidelined for two months.

"Just had surgery and it went smoothly! Right when I woke up I asked when I could ride again, and the doctor said 2 months...but I persuaded him to let me at least walk with my horses after 2 weeks," she said.
