But who knew calamansi can also be a key ingredient in baked goods? This is the surprising revelation that Kapuso celebrity Bea Binene made when she shared her Calamansi Muffin recipe in her recent appearance on Mars Pa More.

Muffins are often sweet, so adding calamansi to it will give it a tangy and refreshing taste.

If you want to recreate Bea's recipe, you'll need the following ingredients:

1. Preheat the oven to 177 degrees Celsius.
2. Combine all the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
3. Put the calamansi juice and full cream milk together in a container.\
4. Cream the unsalted butter until light and fluffy, then add sugar.
6. Pour vanilla extract then add a portion of the dry ingredients.
7. Pour the milk and calamansi juice mixture.
8. Add the remaining portions of the dry and wet ingredients.
9. Scoop the batter into the cupcake liners.
10. Bake for 18-23 minutes. Halfway through baking, rotate the pan.
