Your favorite “Mars” are teaming up for a podcast!
After their appearance on the popular and renowned Kapuso talk shows Mars and Mars Pa More!, three of its hosts, Camille Prats, Iya Villania-Arellano, and Suzi Entrata-Abrera, are reuniting for fun and meaningful conversations in their very own podcast.
In a collaborative Instagram post, the Kapuso hosts shared that they are teaming up for a podcast titled “Kami ang Inyong Mga…”.
According to the post, the three have long wanted to pursue this project and are thrilled to announce its arrival.
They shared that the familiar conversations and “good vibes” they brought to their original show have been reimagined into a fresh format through this podcast.
“Matagal naming gustong gawin 'to. At ngayon, this is it!” they wrote in the caption of their post.
“Bagong format. Same kwentuhan at good vibes lang,” they added.
In a separate post, they shared that this reunion was a long time in the making, involving extensive planning and waiting, which is why their excitement was palpable during the announcement.
“Ang reunion na matagal na naming pinlano at hinintay! Wait.. baka kayo din!” written in the caption of the post.
The three also shared that in their first episode, they will discuss topics that many are not very familiar with, particularly regarding the transition period of their talk show's hosting, when it shifted from the Camille-Suzi duo to the Camille-Iya pairing.
“For our 1st episode, pag-uusapan natin ang hindi alam ng karamihan, from being just Suzi and Camille to becoming Camille and Iya. Ano nga ba ang mga naganap sa likod ng camera?” they said.
To wrap up their post, they wrote an exciting invitation in the caption, asking everyone to join them in their new podcast, which they've dubbed as the new hangout spot for all the “mars.”
“Let's get real at pag-usapan na yan! See you sa aming bagong MarsTambayan!” they wrote.
Beginning its journey in 2012 with Camille and Suzi, the hit talk show Mars became a household staple for seven years.
It eventually paved the way for Mars Pa More, an expanded version featuring Camille, Iya, and Kuya Kim Atienza, which continued the show's legacy until its final broadcast in 2022.
