How did Camille deal with her weight gain and the bashing she got from some netizens?

In a Mars episode where they tackled the ‘be careful who you bully’ challenge, Camille Prats recalled the time when she was at her heaviest.
 
“Hindi ko talaga napansin na ganitong level na pala ‘ko… [Dumating 'yung time na] na-realize ko na sobrang laki ko na. 'Yung mga damit ko, masikip na [at 'yung mga nasusuot ko na lang, 'yung dating] maluwag sa ‘kin. Tapos sa braso, hapit na siya. Halos ayaw na ngang pumasok,” she shared.
 
A lot of people were commenting on her weight, especially when they would watch her on Mars, next to the slim Suzi Abrera.
 
“Of course I was getting bashed on social media, especially here on Mars kasi lagi kong katabi si Mars Suzi, so feel ko number 10 kami dito 'di ba? Tapos na-realize ko na hindi ako comfortable kasi the way I would also dress myself up, hindi na siya nag-fi-fit ng maganda… Tapos feeling ko, 'yung time na ‘to, bata bata pa naman ako, tapos 'yung damit na sinusuot ko, medyo pang older na or laging maluwag,” she added.
 
Her weight gain also affected her professionally because it dawned on her that there would be a limit in the roles that she’ll score.
 
“Na-depress naman ako kasi ibig sabihin nun, the roles that I would be getting are also for older na rin than my age, 'di ba?” she said.
 
She knew she needed to turn her life around so she committed to living a healthier lifestyle through diet and exercise. It helped her that her co-host and good friend Suzi was a health buff.
 
“So nag-effort na lang din talaga ‘ko… A lot of workout and diet. Influence ni Mars [Suzi]. So 'yung kinakain niya, ginagaya ko. [I would say] ‘Ate, ano yan?’ Next taping, may ganun na rin ako. May pa-tsaa siya? Tsaa din ako! So in fairness, nag-work naman siya. Mahirap din,” she imparted.
 
Camille eventually took others’ criticism positively and transformed her life for the better.
 
“Nung una, nakaka-hurt siya pero may point nga naman sila, na parang ‘Sayang, kaya mo pa 'yan eh!’ True enough,” she concluded.
