Last week, news of
Camille Prats pregnancy rocked the entertainment world. But before Camille left for the United States, she graciously accepted an invitation to be interviewed by
Showbiz Central's John Lapus.
To clear up any rumors or issues surrounding her pregnancy, Camille cleared up that she had already planned to study abroad even before she found out she was pregnant. "Ginagawa ko pa 'yung
Super Twins, sinabi ko na talaga sa dad ko."

She shared that she was supposed to take up Marketing, but before leaving, she and her family decided they wanted to build a school. Now, she will be leaving to take a few courses of Early Childhood Education, because that's what she'll need to run the school.
Since the time she had planned to leave for the US to study to the time of the interview, Camille found out that she was pregnant. "Nagkataon lang talaga. When I told my parents I want to leave, hindi ko alam."
Camille also shared that her father was the first to know before her mother. "Kasi si Mommy, medyo hysterical when it comes to thinks like that. And I understand. So it was best to tell Dad first."
"Nalaman ni Mommy mga three days after."
The Prats family had been supportive throughout. Her brother, John Prats, even kept repeating to her that she has to be strong, and that she mustn't worry about anything, and to count her pregnancy as a blessing.
She admitted that her mother initially got angry at the news. "I have so many plans pa raw."
But after a while, Camille's mother was just as supportive as the rest of the family. Her mother even advised her that just because she got pregnant, it doesn't mean that her plans will never come to fruition anymore.
"They never made me feel na kasalanan ko," the teary-eyed Camille continued. "Support ang una nilang binigay sa akin."
Camille told John that she did feel guilty about what happened. She added that her family didn’t deserve to go through what they had. "Ayokong sisihin nila ang sarili nila na sila ang nagkamali, na sila ang nagkulang..."
Of all the celebrities who hid their pregnancies, why did Camille decide to tell the truth?
"In the first place, hindi ko inisip na itago. I just wanted to find the right time," Camille replied. "Wala naman akong dapat ikahiya."
"I think I owe it to the public, sa mga sumusuporta sa akin ever since I was a kid, sa mga nagmamahal sa akin, I think I owe them the truth about my life."
Camille also cleared Paul Soriano, a director who was linked to her, of rumors that had been saying he is the father of her unborn child. "Si Paul kasi is someone I met last year. It was just that."
So just who is the father of Camille's baby?
She introduced to John the 27-year-old Anthony Linsangan, her boyfriend of almost three years.
She shared that she liked his spontaneity. "He was very real. Sa mundo ng showbiz kasi, that's something we look for: 'yung natural."
With Anthony facing John Lapus as well, the two admitted that there are plans for a wedding, but not anytime soon.
Anthony answered that they wanted to wait until after Camille gives birth.
