Two women over 40 found a way to reduce their wrinkles on Pinoy MD.

One of the prominent signs of aging is wrinkles. It is a natural process that everybody has and will face in life, however, not everyone positively welcomes it.

Wrinkles are the lines and creases in the skin caused by the decreasing volume of fat and elasticity. The primary factors to this are age, stress, exposure to ultraviolet radiation from sunlight, and smoking. In addition, according to Mayo Clinic, repeated facial expressions can also contribute to the development of wrinkles.

“Parang 'yung rubber band. 'Pag bago ang rubber band, kapag hinatak natin, bumabalik siya. Pero as we age, hindi na bumabalik or nababawasan na 'yung elasticity ng skin natin,” said Dr. Meilyn Chua-Clemente, a dermatologist.

So, wrinkles are inevitable. But, is it preventable?
