Candy Pangilinan reflects on remaining a single mom or opening her heart again

Candy Pangilinan, a single mom dedicated to raising her son Quentin who has special needs, was asked about the current state of her love life.

In the vodcast Your Honor, Candy shared what she does whenever she starts missing the idea of having a boyfriend.

“Bumabarkada, uma-accept ng date, tapos pagkatapos ng konting oras napapagod din ako,” she said with a laugh.

“Sayang oras, inaantok na ako. Importante ang tulog. Maaga ako bukas, magigising ang anak ko,” she added, admitting that this often runs through her mind whenever she goes on dates.

When it comes to suitors, Candy made it clear that she has certain conditions.

“Pero kailangan kasi 'yung lalaki will enter your life and willing to be part of my life. 'Yung mag-blend in para sumwak,” she explained.

Although she remains open to love, Candy said it's not something she's actively searching for at the moment.

Kung darating, darating,” she said.

She added that her outlook on love and life was shaped by the lessons she learned from Quentin, who is on the autism spectrum.

Kung anong dumating, thank you,” Candy shared.
