During the story conference for her upcoming series, You're My Favorite Song lead actress Caprice Cayetano expressed her excitement and joy, not only for the show but also for her flourishing career as she transitions from a child star to a full-fledged teen star.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Caprice shared that although she started acting at a very young age, she still has many goals she wants to achieve, especially as she approaches legal age and prepares to turn 18.

Far from being intimidated by the transition, she also shared that her upcoming “adulting” phase has only fueled her passion for her craft.

Furthermore, she opened up about her anticipation for more upcoming projects in the future.

“Marami pa po akong ma-reach lalo na po mag-adult [age] na po ako, mag-18 na po ako. So, mas nae-excite pa po ako sa mga show ko na paparating soon and 'yung mga movie po,” Caprice shared.

The young Kapuso actress also shared that she can't help but feel happy and amazed by everything happening in her life and career, admitting that she simply feels incredibly blessed right now.

“Nakakatuwa po kasi hindi po ako makapaniwala sa mga nangyayari sa akin ngayon. I feel very blessed po,” she said.

Caprice hinted that You're My Favorite Song will highlight a new dimension of her acting, giving her audience and supporters something exciting to look forward to.

“For sure po, makikita n'yo po dito 'yung palaban na Caprice. Kung gaano siya kagaling sa school. Ibang side talaga ang makikilala n'yo rito,” shared Caprice.

Despite the growing buzz and the pressure of headlining new projects, as well as her successful win as the PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 Big Winner, Caprice shared that she is more motivated to excel further rather than feeling pressured by her achievements.

She noted that while she is thankful for the recognition, she chooses to focus on the work rather than the fame.

“Mas na-motivate po ako to work hard to do my very very best po. So, hindi ko po siya masyado [nilalagay] sa utak ko. Basta na-appreciate lang po lahat,” she said.
