American rapper Cardi B has officially welcomed her new bundle of joy, her first child with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
In an Instagram post, the global star opened up about entering a new and brighter chapter that's one filled with renewal, strength, and excitement.
"My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season," she wrote.
"Starting over is never easy but it's been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve."
Cardi B also connected this new phase of her life to her latest album, sharing how she faced struggles and challenges with unwavering dedication.
"This next chapter is Me vs. Me! It's me against all odds, me against everything meant to get in my way. I've started prepping for tour getting my body right, (and) getting my mind right. There's nothing that's gonna stop me from giving you guys the performance of a lifetime! I've learned I've healed, and I'm loving the woman I've become! That's what this next era means to me and i'm stepping into it better than ever."
Though the rapper didn't explicitly reveal details in her caption, news reported her spokesperson confirmed to People magazine that she gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
This marks Cardi B's fourth child, following her three children with ex-husband Offset.
The baby's arrival comes shortly after the release of her studio album Am I the Drama? which she is set to bring on tour starting February.
Cardi B remains one of the most influential female rappers today, known for chart-toppers like “Please Me” (with Bruno Mars), “I Like It,” and “WAP” (featuring Megan Thee Stallion).
She also collaborated with K-pop girl group BLACKPINK on the song “Bet You Wanna.”
