'Love Of My Life' lead star Carla Abellana gets real about her relationship with Tom Rodriguez, "Given na six and a half years that Tom and I have been together, medyo may times na nakakarita naman din."
Carla Abellana clarified some rumors about her in her January 29, 2021 YouTube vlog.
One of those assumptions is her being "moody" and "snob."
The comment was based on her previous vlogs where she appears to be ignoring her boyfriend Tom Rodriguez.
Carla admitted that there are times that she gets irritated by Tom but she asserts it's not always the case.
The Love Of My Life lead actress explained, "There may have been episodes in my YouTube channel kung saan parang irritated ako kay Tom, 'di ko s'ya masyadong napapansin, 'di ko siya masyadong pinapakingaan but it's not always like that.
"Alam kong hindi magandang panoorin, hindi magandang makita kaming ganoon, and I don't do that naman on purpose. "
Being together for six and a half years, Carla acknowledged that she and Tom have gone through a rough patch in their relationship.
She continued, "It's not always lovey-dovey, sweet-sweet, whatever chemistry ganyan.
"Given na six and a half years that Tom and I have been together, there are times na medyo nakakarita naman din."
Shen then reiterated, "So nangyayari 'yon, but then I apologize for that but it's not always like that naman.
"At least, napapanood n'yo sa ibang mga online videos na kahit papaano nakikita n'yo na love ko naman talaga si Tom at 'di naman ako snobbish or moody at all times."
Carla also clarified that she and Tom are not showy in public because she is not used to it even in her past relationships.
She shared, "I'm not showy particularly in public, 'di ako masyadong showy if you notice Tom and I are not into too much PDA or public display of affection.
"Siguro gano'n lang siguro ako pinakalaki but it's not because we're in show business but in all of my past relationships na rin that I've been.
"Hindi naman talaga ako gaano ka-showy, 'di naman sa 'di ako comofortable o I don't do it in purpose but it's just really who I am."
To her defense, Carla said that she expresses her affection to her partner in other ways.
She uttered, "There are so many ways naman how you can show your love for your loved ones or for your partner.
"There are many ways, 'di kailangan through physical means, 'di naman din porket 'di showy, e, hindi ko mahal si Tom or 'di ako affectionate.
"I express my love in other ways."
Just like most couples, Carla admitted that jealousy at some point reared its head in her relationship with Tom.
However, she pointed out that she's not "selosa" because she believes it's not worth the time and energy especially if you are confident with your partner.
She said, "'Di ako selosa, number one you should not be kung wala namang basis, 'di ba, kung you trust your partner a hundred percent.
"Really, my times na ang jealousy gets in the way but really it's not good in the relationship and kung wala naman talagang pagdududa, hindi dapat, sayang lang 'yan sa effiort and sa time.
"So 'wag na magselos, be confident in yourself, be confident that your partner loves you, loves everything about you.
"There's nothing that will get in between that or no one will get in between that."

Carla and Tom are just one of the celebrity couples that people love on and off screen.
They first worked together in the hit 2013 Kapuso series My Husband's Lover, where they got to know each other better and eventually fell in love together.
