Apart from starring in Love Of My Life, netizens also searched about Carla's marriage plans to her real-life partner, Tom Rodriguez.

According to Carla, "Napag-uusapan na namin ni Tom pero wala pa kaming plans talaga in terms of kung kailan, saan, sinu-sinong kasama. Wala pang detalyadong [usap] pero napapag-usapan na namin, part naman siya ng plan talaga."

In a separate interview with Tom, he shared that he considers the newlyweds, Mikael Daez and Megan Young, as his #CoupleGoals. He even asked tips from his Love Of My Life co-star, Mikael, on how to propose to Carla.
