Kapuso actress and animal lover Carla Abellana is asking for prayers.

Over on Instagram, Carla requested prayers from her followers for the recovery of her dog, Patches, who will be undergoing surgery.

"Hi, everyone! It would mean a lot to us if you could say a quick prayer for Patches today. She's undergoing surgery and won't be home for a couple of days.

"She's a strong girl, but we could surely use some prayers right now, especially for her recovery. Thank you," she said.
