Angeline Flor Pua is of Filipino descent but was born in Antwerp, Belgium.

Did you know a 22-year-old born to Filipino parents was crowned Miss Belgium 2018?

Miss Belgium Angeline Flor Pua is now facing racism comments after bagging the coveted title to represent the country in the Miss Universe and Miss World pageants.

The Pinay beauty is bothered by the nasty remarks, “I’ve heard about the negative comments. Of course, it hurts a lot to read those things about myself because I know those things are not true.”

Although she is Filipino by blood, Angeline was born in Antwerp, “I can show my ID, my birth certificate to prove that I am a Belgian.”

Kapuso star Carla Abellana defended the Pinay beauty, “No to racism.”
