Filipino athlete Carlos Yulo and Chloe San Jose penned heartfelt messages for each other on their fifth anniversary.
Carlos Yulo and Chloe San Jose recently celebrated their fifth year of being a couple.
As seen on Instagram, the couple went to Tagaytay for a romantic date on this special occasion. Aside from this, Carlos and Chloe also penned sweet messages for each other.
In his post, the two-time Olympic gold medalist wrote, “Mula sa palitan ng mga matatamis na salita papunta sa mga matatamis mong labi, sa mga yakap mong hinahanap ko palagi. Sa presensya mong nakakahawa ng saya at pag mamahal mong walang katumbas. Dati sa cellphone lang kita nakakausap at nakikita, ngayon araw araw na tayong magkasama. thank you G!”
Carlos then expressed his gratitude to the Lord for giving him Chloe, whom he described as “anghel.”
He went on, “Lord God marami pong salamat sa regalo nyong anghel na nagsilbing gabay para matuto, maging mabuti, magmahal at higit sa lahat mas mapalapit SAYO. Aalagaan, mamahalin at poprotektahan ko po ang lahat ng ito.
"Grateful and thankful po ako sa mga challenges and blessings na binibigay nyo po para mas patatagin at mas mahalin pa namin ng husto ang isa't isa. Muli, maligayang anibersaryo sa atin mahal ko. Mahal na mahal kita.”
In Chloe's post, she expressed how grateful she is for Carlos and how proud she is of their growth as individuals and as a couple.
“I'm so grateful to the universe for writing this life with you in it. We've grown so much and have been through a lot, individually and as a team and I'm just really proud of us, mahal. Thank you for making love feel safe and steady,” she wrote.
She went on, “Happiest 5th anniversary, dada!! Here's to more years of choosing each other: on the good and hard days, more memories and random "let's book a flight" moments and everything in between.”
Carlos Yulo and Chloe San Jose have been together since 2020.
The former made history by being the first Filipino athlete to win two gold medals in an Olympics.
