Filipina singer Carol Banawa finishes her master's degree in nursing!

Joining a growing list of stars celebrating academic achievements, Filipina singer Carol Banawa has reached a major milestone in her educational journey!

In an Instagram post, Carol proudly announced that she has earned her Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Saint Joseph's College of Maine in the United States, on May 10.

Alongside a photo of her graduation invitation and an inspiring quote, Carol reflected on her long journey in the medical field.

"My nursing journey began in 2005 in Arizona, as a Certified Nurse Aide. In 2010, I earned my Licensed Practical Nurse Certificate. I continued my path in Virginia, where I completed my Associate Degree in Nursing in 2018 and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2020," she shared.

Carol also opened up about the challenges she faced while pursuing her degree, particularly during the pandemic and her pregnancy with her daughter Bella.

"Balancing pregnancy, parenting, and a rigorous academic program during such uncertain times was far from easy. There were sleepless nights, long study sessions, missed gatherings, and so many moments where I had to say, 'not now, I have to study.' There were also moments of doubt, exhaustion, and wondering if I could really keep going. But the dream was stronger--and I just kept going," she said.

The Pinay star went on to thank her support system, which includes her husband Ryan Crisostomo, their children Chels, River, and Bella, as well as her family and close friends.

"Most of all, to God Almighty--thank You for this journey. This was Your plan all along. You gave me strength when I had none, courage when I was afraid, and peace when I doubted. This achievement is Yours," she added.

Carol ended her heartfelt message with a word of encouragement for others who may be facing their own struggles.

"To anyone who is on a long, hard road--keep going. One step at a time. Dreams take time, sacrifice, and faith. But they are worth it. To God be the Glory!" she wrote.
