German athlete Caroline Joyeux shows her all-out support for her boyfriend EJ Obiena in the Paris Olympics.

EJ Obiena may have fallen short of winning a medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics, but he has the support of his fans, especially his girlfriend Caroline Joyeux.

German athlete and triple jumper Caroline Joyeux shared photos of her watching EJ during his Men's Pole Vault Finals match on August 6, 2024.

In a series of Instagram Stories, Caroline documented her excitement in watching her boyfriend, who is currently the world's no. 2 pole vaulter.

Despite his devastating loss, EJ vows to make a strong comeback and continue his journey as an athlete.

His message read, "Thank you again for your support and standing by me. I love you all, and we all share a common love and pride for the Philippines. Carlos Yulo has already made this an Olympics to remember and I salute him. I am sorry I didn't join him on the podium but I will be back. 'The good get up' as they say. I have been knocked down. But I will get back up."

Caroline's stories show her sharing EJ's message with a healing broken heart emoji.

The couple have been together since 2020 after meeting in a training camp.

In 2022, EJ revealed he's dating Caroline in an episode of Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel podcast.

Back then, EJ was based in Italy while Caroline was in Germany.

He said, "I met her here in the training camp. And then I had a trip, a trip that I needed to go to in Berlin, then I met her there again. And then she ended up flying back here and doing a training camp. And then that's where we kind of, you know, 'Hey,' and then yeah, it's a funny, awkward, cheesy, kind of way of meeting people," Obiena shared.
