Actor and director Zoren Legaspi is celebrating his 49th birthday today, January 30.

His wife Carmina Villarroel and his son Mavy decided to surprise him with some cake while he's still in bed.

His daughter Cassy made sure not to miss the occasion as she joined them via video call.

Carmina shared photos and videos of the simple surprise celebration on her Instagram account.

"Since Cassy's not here, naka lock-in siya, kaya naka video call kami," Carmina explains.

Cassy is currently in La Union for the second leg of the lock-in taping of the upcoming GMA Telebabad series First Yaya along with Sanya Lopez and Gabby Concepcion.

"Hello! Happy birthday, Tatay," Cassy greets as her twin brother Mavy holds up his phone.

The second half of the surprise was a boxed filled with cute balloons.

After reading the message attached to the balloon, Zoren joked about the gifts that he received.

"May laman ba 'to? Wala talaga?" he says shaking the balloon.

"Walang laman," he adds as he jokingly throws the balloon at Cassy on the phone.

However, the balloon pops!

"Did you see what happened?" Mavy asks Cassy then shows her the popped balloon.

"Oh my god!" she is heard saying, followed by raucous laughter.

"Bakit pumutok?" Zoren asks Mavy.

"I don't [know.] You hit my phone eh," Mavy says.

"You poked it," Zoren accuses Mavy.

"No, I was... I didn't poke it," Mavy defends himself, flabbergasted.
