Kapuso star Cassy Legaspi had her very own fangirl moment yesterday as she gets acknowledged by a prominent Korean star.
In an Instagram Story that has now expired, Cassy shared a screenshot that showed Squid Game star Wi Ha-Joon liking a message from her. Cassy did not share what the message was, but did include a finger heart and a teary-eyed emoji to her Instagram Story.

Wi Ha-Joon isn't the only Korean star that Cassy has fangirled over. Back in 2019, Cassy also attended the Philippine fan meet of Korean actor Lee Dong Wook. She also also been a vocal fan of K-pop groups like TWICE, GOT7, and many more.
The positive interaction with the Korean star is certainly different from some of Cassy's experience on social media, something which she discussed in the first episode of her vodcast, Cassy's Corner. In the vodcast, Cassy shared that she has been receiving hate comments even as a child.
“I've been in front of the camera or I've been in the public eye since I was three years old. I started getting hate comments ever since I was nine years old. Medyo manhid na ako at this point," she shared.
Growing up with that much attention on her has taught Cassy that she decides how to react to people's perception of her.
"I guess one thing that it taught me was I can't control what other people think of me and what other people do to me or like how they react to me. But I can control how I can react to it if that makes any sense," she said.
