The game was launched by GMA Network as a companion app for its hit show 'Juan Tamad,' starring Sef Cadayona.
Showing just how quickly the game has picked up since its launch on October 11 ... when ranked among longstanding games on Google Play, 'Catch the Guava' is now second only to the epic 'Clash of Clans' and has even bested 'Candy Crush!'
'Catch the Guava' game mechanics are simple: keep Juan’s mouth open to catch fresh guavas, close his mouth to avoid the rotten ones. The more guavas Juan catches, the closer he gets to winning the love of Marie – just as he does on the TV show.
