Self-confessed simple girl Catriona Gray reveals that one of the adjustments she had to make when her journey as Miss World Philippines began was having to doll up every day.
“[A] big training aspect was makeup and hair because I’m a very simple girl. I never wear makeup. I never do my hair every day so that’s something I really had to learn and get used to,” she shared in a group interview on Miss World’s Facebook Live.
Asked about her preparations, she shared about how she spent time with PARAISO: The Bright Beginnings Project, her Beauty With A Purpose entry.

“I just wanted to immerse myself in my charity because that was my anchor throughout all the Miss World happenings and the journey of Miss World… My charity work was the catalyst that made me want to join in the first place,” she shared.
