During her interview with American TV show Good Day New York, Miss Universe Catriona Gray wowed with her intelligence and sense of humor.

During her guesting for American TV show Good Day New York, Catriona wowed the talk show hosts with her intelligence and sense of humor.
When asked why she joined beauty pageants, Catriona said: “I never realized the platform that pageantry has. At first when I was younger I just saw it as a show with sparkly dresses.”
“It wasn't until I saw how Filipino people see beauty queens. They really do have a voice in the community and I think that's really expanded with the help of social media to other countries across the world.
“So knowing that it has that platform… I was actually just volunteering at charities at the time and that's when I saw 'Wow, how further could I push or how further could I reach for my causes if I could use pageantry?'"
Catriona also gushed about the Miss Universe apartment in New York where she will be staying during her reign.
“The apartment's amazing; I can look out my kitchen and see Central Park. I feel like I'm in a movie, this is what you dream about.”
