Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is recognized for her passion in wearing locally made products as she becomes OTOP ambassador.

There's no stopping Catriona Gray from finding the silver lining in every cloud.

Right after officially filing a complaint at the National Bureau of Investigation for malicious fake photos spreading on the internet, the Miss Universe 2018 crownholder welcomed a new role as a Department of Trade and Industry's "One Town. One Project" Ambassador.

The "One Town, One Project" movement is a promotional program of the Philippine government promoting local goods and products of Filipino towns, cities, and regions aiming to provide funding for small businesses.

Catriona took to social media to share her good news as a guiding figure to promote Filipino products.

"Such an honor to be announced today as the Philippine One Town One Product Ambassador for the @dti.philippines
Modernong Obra Disenyong Atin initiatives.

She added, "Through this initiative I'll be working to uplift, spread awareness, support and encourage our local communities, especially our weavers. #SupportLocalPH Stay tuned!"

Catriona also released a new version of her song "We're in this Together" featuring actor boyfriend Sam Milby.
