Catriona Gray leaves Manila for New York to officially begin her reign as Miss Universe.
Catriona Gray leaves the Philippines for New York City on January 2 to fulfill her duties as Miss Universe 2018.
In a post on Instagram, Catriona said that she is ready to move to New York but nervous because of the city's winter season.
“Refreshed from a quiet holiday season with my loved ones, I've packed up my home in Manila and now I'm ready to move to my new home in New York City!!” she wrote.
“I have to say I'm most nervous about experiencing the chill of NYC in winter but would love to know, what are you recommendations to see, do and eat?!”
Catriona is the fourth Filipina to win the highly-coveted Miss Universe crown after Gloria Diaz (1969), Margie Moran (1973), and Pia Wurtzbach (2015).
