Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray draws away from her usual glammed up photo to remind her more than 10 million followers that it's okay to embrace one's flaws.
On Instagram, the former beauty queen shared a bare-faced selfie and said that her skin is far from flawless.
“Hi! I am just jumping on here with a bare-faced selfie to remind you that even though in photoshoots, makeup, and IG story filters, my skin looks 'flawless.' In reality, I have pores, oiliness, fine lines, breakouts, beauty spots, and moles… and I'm perfectly fine with that,” she wrote in the caption.
“This is just a kind little reminder to remember that what we see online is a 'curated feed,' and that we shouldn't compare that to our everyday reality. #AsSheIs.”
The post has since already received more than 480,000 Likes, with fellow beauty queens MJ Lastimoso and Sandra Lemonon supporting her post.

The post is part of Catriona Gray's support to the #AsheIs online movement to bring perspective to young girls that it's not all glitz and glam behind social media.
Last year, the beauty queen joined the challenge by posting her insecurities online as she shared a selfie sans her usual glamorous look.
“This is the skin I wake up every day. I love playing with makeup and being glam, but I've also grown to love the skin I wake up in acne scars, moles, and all.
“I too have days where I don't feel confident, or my insecurities are louder… but that's okay. Loving yourself as you are is a journey, but it's a journey worth taking,” Catriona advised.
