Catriona Gray is the latest titleholder to host a local pageant's coronation night.
Pageant fans looking forward to the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night on July 31 have another reason to watch the pageant as former Miss Universe Catriona Gray has been announced as the host.
In a post on her Instagram account, Catriona put up two pictures of her wearing an eye-catching ensemble while wearing colorful makeup. In the caption, she announced her upcoming role as a host of the pageant alongside 2016 Binibining Pilipinas Grand International Nicole Corodves.
In the comments section, Catriona's Instagram followers were quick to congratulate her on her new job. The Binibining Pilipinas Instagram account, as well as Josh Yugen of the Miss Universe Bahrain Organization and former Miss Universe Denmark Helena Heuser also cheered her on.
This isn't the first time that a previous titleholder has hosted the coronation night of a local pageant. Back in March, Miss Universe winners Pia Wurtzbach, Iris Mittenaere, and Demi-Leigh Tebow were the hosts of the Miss Universe 2022 coronation night.
Titles up for grabs at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant are Bb. Pilipinas International, Bb. Pilipinas Grand International, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental, and Bb. Pilipinas Globe.
Some of the famous names competing in the Binibining Pilipinas pageant include Herlene “Hipon Girl” Budol and Lala Vinzon.
Back in May, Lala Vinzon caught the eyes of the public as she participated in the Binibining Pilipinas Grand Santacruzan as a scarlet Sta. Maria Salome.
