
Catriona Gray has won the libel and cyber libel cases that she filed in 2020.
The complaint was filed by Miss Universe 2018 against Bulgar entertainment editor Janice Navida and writer Melba Llanera for publishing a fake photo.

Attorney Josabeth Alonso, the legal counsel for Catriona, shared the news on her Instagram account.
She said, "Finally, after 4 years, the libel and cyber libel cases filed by Miss Universe 2018 @catriona_gray have been resolved. The writer and editor of BULGAR were found guilty beyond reasonable doubt, sentencing them to imprisonment."
The photo shows documents stating "guilty beyond reasonable doubt."
Attorney Joji included a message expressing gratitude to Catriona in her post.
"Thank you Cat for the trust you have reposed on us. The journey was not an easy tread but it is all worth it.
Thank you @anjantonio and @chrisliquigan, for all your hard work."
She ended her post with, "This is not just a judicial win but a moral victory!"
According to reports, the editor and writer who were found guilty will file a motion for reconsideration.
