Horror house drive-thru

Manila at night

Revisit and know more about Manila's dark history by joining a free virtual tour hosted by WanderManila.

The tour dubbed “One Night in Manila” will put the spotlight on places around the country's capital with scary backstories.

“Manila's history has its share of violence and blood, of strife and death, and these acts echo well into the present, manifesting in various ways,” WanderManila eerily wrote on Facebook.

“The smell of flowers when there are none, the mysterious footsteps in an empty building, the shadowy figures at the corner of your eye.”

The free online tour will be streamed on WanderManila's Facebook page on October 30 at 9:00 p.m.

Highly recommended though is the Bizu Trick or Treat Box filled with an assortment of Halloween treats, including toys, perfect to scare away the blues in children.

Mind games

What better way to celebrate Halloween than with cool science tricks and treats?

The Mind Museum and BGC Arts Center will do just with enthralling art and science trick and treats with the help of optical illusions, ooey-gooey oobleck, and invisible ink.

This amazing experience is designed for kids four to eight and will be held via Zoom on Saturday, October 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Virtual concert

Remember departed loved ones through the power of music. Memorial care brand and service provider Forest Lake is hosting an online concert on November 1.

Music and Memories: A Celebration of Life Through Music will feature artists Marco Sison, Cooky Chua, Bugoy Drilon, Ice Seguerra, Wency Cornejo, and Kuh Ledesma, all delivering heartwarming songs to touch the hearts of listeners.

Hosting the concert is comedienne Giselle Sanchez. A mass at 2:00 p.m. will be held before the concert.

Existing Forest Lake lot owners will be eligible to participate in a raffle for a chance to win a Forest Lake Memorial Park Lot. Regular event attendees, on the other hand, may win cash prizes.

The deadline for entries is October 30.
