Kapuso celebrities are one with the Philippines in cheering for our country's athletes making waves in the prestigious Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
After Filipino boxer Carlo Paalam settled for a silver medal on August 7, following his loss against Great Britain's Galal Yafai, local personalities showed their support for our Olympic bets.
Faith Da Silva reposted this artwork of the Olympics logo spelling out the word "babae" and featuring female Olympic athletes Hidilyn Diaz, Nesthy Petecio, Margielyn Diaz, and Yuka Saso.
Similarly, Kapuso actress Klea Pineda reposted a quote honoring athletes who challenged gender stereotypes.
Celebrities Jason Abalos, Gabbi Garcia, John Vic de Guzman, and Gil Cuerva congratulated Carlo Paalam for taking home a silver medal for the country.
