Kapuso and Kapamilya stars were one in sending messages of congratulations and other well wishes for Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli who exchanged “I dos” in an intimate wedding on February 20, 2020.

Sarah and Matteo have been in a relationship since 2014 and they made their engagement public in November 2019.

After six years, the celebrity couple decided to tie the knot in an intimate Christian wedding held in Taguig City.

The newlyweds did their best to keep their ceremony discreet and private but it caught public attention following a complaint filed by Sarah's close-in security detail.

The actress-singer's bodyguard, Jerry Tamara, claimed that Matteo punched him after leaking the information to Sarah's mom.

Despite the alleged altercation that almost stole the limelight, Sarah and Matteo's wedding pushed through.

And in the actor's Instagram post confirming their marriage, messages of congratulations and support poured in.

02 20 2020, A day full of pure love, honesty and genuine emotions. Yes, we got married. Mr and Mrs. Guidicelli. First and foremost, We would like to express the overwhelming joy, love and excitement we have in beginning our life together.
