Five Star Half Marathon 2025

Local charity run raised over P8 million, which will be used to boost the improvement of the healthcare services in Samal, Bataan and Gerona, Tarlac.

The CDC Parade Grounds transformed into a sea of advocacy and athletic spirit on December 7, 2024, as the Five Star Half Marathon 2025 successfully brought together over 4,000 participants for one of the region's most impactful "run for a cause" assemblies.

Organized by Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation (CPF Philippines) through its flagship Five Star Chicken brand, the event saw a massive surge in participation, nearly doubling the turnout from the previous year's 2,500 runners. This fifth edition marks a strategic evolution for the company, as the race was elevated to the "Five Star Half Marathon" title to better leverage the brand's reach for community development.

Celebrities like Ivana Alawi, Jameson Blake, Keisha Serna, and content creator Perlas (extreme right) were among the participants.

At its core, the event is dedicated to strengthening local healthcare services. The 2025 run successfully raised a total of ₱8 million, which will be donated to two rural health units (RHUs) — RHU in Samal, Bataan and RHU in Gerona, Tarlac — with each receiving ₱4 million.

Through this growing annual tradition, CPF Philippines continues its commitment to community development and public health by using sports as a platform to support and uplift Filipino communities.

The charity run for CPF was headed by Ivana Alawi and Mr. Golf Nattakorn Sujipittham, together with the Content Creators of the Philippines led by chemist Pinky Tobiano.

Others who joined the event were actor Jameson Blake, plus a number of influencers including Perlas (Patricia Lourel Funtanares), a popular content creator on TikTok and YouTube, Jeff Cabrera, Keisha Serna, and Daniel Sulud.

Chemist Pinky Tobiano and actress Ivana Alawi were all smiles, due to the fact that the charity run was a success.
