Longtime couple Jason Abalos and Vickie Rushton finally revealed they've been engaged since September 2021.

Vickie, who won Mutya Ng Pilipinas in 2011 and placed first runner-up in Binibining Pilipinas 2018 shared a photo of her beautiful engagement ring on Instagram.

She wrote in the caption: “So, Baba and I have been keeping a little secret…"

She finished it off with a bible passage that said: "'When the time is right I, the Lord, will make it happen.' - Isaiah 60:22”

According to the Sparkle actor, she proposed to Vickie on September 1, 2021.

The soon-to-be-married couple also received heartwarming messages from their fellow celebrities congratulating both of them.

Among those who sent their well-wishes were 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, Jo Berry, and Jessy Mendiola.

Meanwhile, this year will be a busy one for Jason. Aside from preparing for his wedding, he also won a seat as a provincial board member in Nueva Ecija in the May elections.

He also renewed his contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center last November 2021. He has been with the Kapuso Network since 2017.
