Helen Gamboa was honored with the Nora Aunor Ulirang Artista Lifetime Achievement Award at the 38th PMPC Star Awards for Movies.
Veteran actress Helen Gamboa was honored by her peers and colleagues in the showbiz industry, after she received the Nora Aunor Ulirang Artista Lifetime Achievement Award at the 38th PMPC Star Awards for Movies held last July 16, at the Manila Hotel.
Her daughter Ciara Sotto paid tribute to her Mom, whom she described as an artist with “impeccable talent.” She wrote on her Instagram, “ Perfect beauty… impeccable talent… purest heart. 🤍🤍🤍 Congratulations to you, my beautiful Mama, on your Nora Aunor Ulirang Artista Lifetime Achievement Award from PMPC Star Awards. 🏆 I love you so much! I am so proud of you!
Meanwhile, OPM diva Kuh Ledesma also congratulated the veteran actress saying, “Truly a beautiful woman of God! Congrats n [and] may more abundant blessings pour!!!”

During the awarding ceremony, Maria Clara at Ibarra director Zig Dulay received the trophy for Best Short Film and Best Short Movie Director of the Year for Black Rainbow, while All-Out Sundays mainstay Christian Bautista won Male Star of the Night.
