Celeste Cortesi: "I've always wanted to step out of my comfort zone."
Celeste Cortesi talked about the role that she dreams of taking on now that she's officially part of showbiz. At the recent Signed for Stardom 2023, where more than 50 artists signed with Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Celeste Cortesi said, "I've always wanted to step out of my comfort zone, to be honest."

The Miss Universe Philippines 2022 who is now a Kapuso revealed that she envisions herself playing a kontrabida. Celeste admitted on stage, "I always want to be kontrabida."

She is now motivated to showcase her acting abilities in the Kapuso Network after her experience in the beauty pageant world.
"In beauty pageants, you're always expected to act a certain way, to always be you know nice and good, which I am. But, since we're acting. I want to try the kontrabida role."
Celeste admitted she is excited about the opportunities that will allow her to grow as an actress.
"Since I am done with pageantry now, that chapter is closed, I want to try something new. I always wanted to act. I think that's what I'm looking forward to."
Lastly, she expressed gratitude to GMA Network and Sparkle after being launched on Signed for Stardom 2023.
"I want to thank GMA and Sparkle for this great opportunity. Thank you, thank you so much. Maraming salamat po."
