Ring tones Heartthrob Marvin Agustin also uses the standard tone for his Ericsson, and so does Rhian Ramos and Alfred Vargas! But Hunky Alfred’s excuse isn’t because he’s busy, but rather because he’s not a techie person. StarStruck Survivors Aljur Abrenica and Paulo Avelino also use the standard tones, while Kris Bernal tells us that her phone is always on silent mode. There really is something to be said about the simplicity of having a standard ring tone! Then, there are those who will find the time to personalize their phones. Just look at Polo Ravales whose ring tone is Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy Back”! And he’s not the only celebrity who uses songs as their ring tone. Dex Quindoza admits to using the hit novelty song “Itaktak Mo” as his tone, Stef Prescott uses Usher’s “Confessions”, and Tyron Perez uses “Scientist” by Coldplay. Super “T” Nadine Samonte bops to Fergie’s “London Bridge” when someone is calling her, and Chynna Ortaleza keeps her boyfriend special by only assigning a personalized tone to him, a song called “You and Me”. Then there’s Rich Asuncion who uses the sound of a speeding car to alert her of calls and text messages, and Lizzy Pecson who uses one of those cutesy messages that have been baby-talked. Wallpapers and Screensavers But personalizing doesn’t end on just the ring tones! With colored cell phones being all the rage these days, users can now set wallpapers for their phones. Rhian, who doesn’t know how to remove wallpapers, is stuck with a photo of her cousin sticking his tongue out! But her other phone has a photo of a flower as its wallpaper because it’s calm and simple. Marvin used to have logos of his restaurants as the wallpapers of his phone, but a recent upgrade erased the logos. Prior to the restaurant logos, he used the photos of his kids, Santiago and Sebastian. Did those get erased too? Let’s hope not. A photo of Isabel Oli graces Paolo Contis’s phone, just as Nadine uses a photo of her boyfriend with her on her cell phone. Paulo and Aljur keep things real with a StarStruck wallpaper on their phones. Is that the reason why they’re still in the competition? Maybe it’s their good luck charm!
