Chariz says 'StarStruck' gave her a "crash course" in show business.
By MARY LOUISE LIGUNAS
For her, the journey put her through a whirlwind of emotions and taught her several lessons that she applies until today.
“Talagang nakaka-stress kasi competition talaga siya eh. Walang friendship friendship [at first]… But sa huli, siyempre 'yung pipiliin nila [ay] kung sino professional sa work and sino 'yung magaling makisama,” she shared.
According to her, 'StarStruck' is more than a competition; it’s a training ground and a venue for character building.
“I think kaya ako nandito [sa industriya ay] hindi lang dahil sa kung ano 'yung meron ako skill-wise at talent-wise but also 'yung character and 'yung attitude [ko] towards work,” she added.
Because of the tools she gained and inspiration she gathered, she was able to score any comedian’s dream – to be part of
Bubble Gang.
Feel ko sobrang family kami doon,” she shared.
She partly attributes the fulfillment of her dream to her unforgettable albeit brief StarStruck stint.
“Of course [kasama ang StarStruck sa journey ko as an artista]… Doon [ko] lahat [na-experience],” she said.
