Charlie Fleming shared Sean Lucas' priceless reaction after discovering that he was one of the inspirations behind her portrayal of Karla in the hit GMA Prime series The Master Cutter.
Charlie Fleming's portrayal of Karla in the GMA Prime series The Master Cutter has captured the attention of viewers.
Many have praised the Sparkle actress for her effective portrayal of a boyish mestiza beauty from Tabang-lupa who also helps Atoy, played by Dingdong Dantes, in some of his missions.
In an earlier interview with Kapuso Showbiz News, Charlie revealed that she used fellow Sparkle talents Sean Lucas and Matthew Uy as pegs for Karla's character.

What was their reaction after seeing her bring one of The Master Cutter's beloved characters to life?
“Si Matthew parang I think I told him once lang. Pero 'yung pinaka-reaksyon talaga ni Sean 'yung pinaka-nag-stick with me.
“Parang nagulat siya nang bongga. Tapos sabi niya, 'Sige ah, 'pag manonood ako, iisipin ko ako 'yan, men! Ako 'yung kaeksena ni Kuya Dong [Dingdong Dantes],'” Charlie shared in her exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com.
She continued, “Even 'yung isang videographer ko ang naging inspirasyon ko [for Karla]. Nagulat na lang siya na all that I've been doing—talking and really getting to know the person—hindi nila alam na ginagamit ko rin siya for my character.”
Charlie also said she is overwhelmed by the positive response to their GMA Prime series. In fact, The Master Cutter has consistently ranked among Netflix's Top 5 most popular series and has continued to post double-digit ratings in primetime.
Speaking about the show's success, the promising actress said, “Actually, what I'm really proud of is that it is still on top of Netflix hanggang ngayon. And instead of the ratings going down, they keep going up even more. People have become even more hooked on it.”
“Super, super proud ako that people appreciate it all around. People notice me and even my character. It is such a lovely feeling to be noticed because of your character. Kasi 'yung character, pinaghirapan mo 'yan.
“Talagang you put a whole personality into it and create that character. Then you display it, and for people to notice my character is such an honorable feeling. I'm just super grateful sa lahat ng Kapuso na sumusubaybay sa The Master Cutter, and I hope hanggang dulo ninyo itong subaybayan para makita ninyo ang character development na pinaghirapan namin.”
