Singer-songwriter Charlie Puth took to Twitter on Thursday, December 16, to tell his followers that he had contracted COVID-19.
The “One Call Away” singer tweeted, “Hey everyone. I tested positive for Covid this morning.”
He then gave more details on his health status, saying, “I'm not feeling amazing but I think the worst is behind me.”
Charlie ended his tweet with a message for his fans, hoping his experience will serve as a cautionary tale.
He said, “I write you this update, feeling like complete a**, in hopes that you will be safe and careful this holiday season. Love you and I'll speak to you very soon.”

Fortunately, the “See You Again” hitmaker is fully vaccinated, which makes it less likely for him to get severe COVID-19.
Charlie's mom, Debra Puth, expressed her relief in the comments section of his post, saying, “I'm so glad you are vaccinated (heart emojis).”
Back in May 9, Charlie tweeted that he received his second shot of the COVID-19 vaccine and that he felt “a little wooooozy and loopy.”
