Filipino moviegoers looking to catch the Metro Manila Film Festival entry Isang Himala now have more venues to do so as production company CreaZion Studios has shared the different theaters that will be screening the festival entry.

In one of the more recent posts on their official Facebook page, CreaZion Studios listed the theaters screening the movie musical. The movie theaters in Metro Manila screening Isang Himala include Ayala Malls Circuit, Ayala Malls Cloverleaf, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Evia Lifestyle Center, Fishermall Malabon, Fishermall QC, Gateway, Glorietta, Lucky Chinatown, Market! Market!, Newport, and Robinsons Galleria. Other theaters include SM Caloocan, SM East Ortigas, SM Fairview, SM Manila, SM Mall of Asia, SM Muntinlupa, SM North EDSA, SM S'Maison, SM Southmall, SM Sucat, and Trinoma.

Outside of Metro Manila, participating movie theaters include SM Daet, SM Pampanga, Sta. Lucia Mall, Ayala Central Bloc, Gaisano Cineplex, Robinsons Cebu, Gaisano Davao, NCCC Davao, and SM Davao.

Kapuso singer-actress Aicelle Santos plays Elsa, the role originated by Superstar and National Artist Nora Aunor in the 1982 film Himala. Directed by Ishmael Bernal, the movie earned the Best Movie and Best Actress award for Nora during the 1982 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

During the grand launch of Isang Himala, Aicelle said she made sure not to base her performance on that of the Superstar.

“Sa tingin ko po hindi maganda, as an actor, na 'yun ang pagbasehan ko, kung ano ang ginawa nang nauna sa iyo. Kaya lagi kong sinasabi na balikan ang script, balikan ang karakter, balikan ang mga kaeksena mo dahil yun ang bubuo ng kuwento,” she explained.
