Bubbly and talented Chef Boy Logro has carved a name for himself when it comes to whipping up fun and easy recipes that everyone can enjoy. Many lessons can be learned and many stories are shared in his popular cooking show. Kusina Master gets a revamp with all-new segments and its new 10:00 am timeslot.
In an interview with Lolit Solis and Ricky Lo of Startalk TX, Chef Boy Logro was asked to touch on how he feels about bringing the culinary arts closer to the masses. The seasoned Executive Chef said, “Kailangan talaga…dapat tinutulungan natin ang mga kapwa nating Pilipino. Kaya ‘yung culinary school ko po, napakamura, para po sa mga Pilipino. Ang lahat ng graduate ko (galing sa Chef Logro’s Institute of Culinary and Kitchen Services) ay halos nasa Europe na.”
Besides having his Culinary Institute, Kusina Master serves as another avenue for Chef Boy to share his knowledge to every Filipino who wants to learn new kitchen tricks and recipes. Chef Boy is very proud of the new additions to his cooking show. “Ito kasi ang pinakamaganda, ang bagong aabangan nila. Bago na ang aming oras sa Kusina Master, at pinasaya, pnagaganda at lalong pina- yum yum yum. Alas diyes na ng umaga. Lunes na ito, February 18.”
Referring to one of the segments in Kusina Master Chef Boy shares, “Marami kayong matututunan lalo na sa mga bagong technique ng mga food establishment. ‘Yung mga sikreto katulad ng paggawa ng fresh noodles at puff chicharon, nandoon lahat. Aabangan ninyo iyan.”
Another venture that Chef Boy is into lately is acting. In the works is his first movie. “Iyon nga po, sa Fighting Chefs. Isa na po akong actor for the first time. Sana po ay panoorin nila. (Kasama ko dito) si Chairman Ronnie Ricketts po.”
It seems like Chef Boy is everywhere nowadays and it looks like he is truly bound to succeed in his future endeavors. His sunny disposition and knack for entertaining leave viewers wanting for more. In Chef Boy’s words, “Kung dessert man ako, ako ay gelatin. Uulit ulitin mo.”
