Popular content creator and chef Ninong Ry, Ryan Morales Reyes in real life, took immediate action after he learned about a Facebook page using his name and photos without permission.
The YouTuber posted on his verified FB page that everyone should not give any money to the page with the handle “NinongRy-Give” because it's a scam.
He explained, “Mga inaanak, scam po ito. Hindi po ako ito. Wag po kayo magbibigay ng pera dito.
“'Pag hindi po verified ang page, hindi po ako 'yan. Paki-report naman po ang page para wala pong ma-scam. Eto po siya.”
Ninong Ry has established himself as one of the most popular chefs online with millions of viewers watching his cooking videos. His official YouTube page has over 1.3 million subscribers, while his Facebook page boasts over 5.2 million followers.
