
Philippine representative Chelsea Fernandez is making a strong case for her to get to the finals as she snags two more awards from the pageant.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, The Miss Philippines organization congratulated Chelsea for winning two special awards, namely, Eventista's Iconic Swimsuit Award and Parade of Beauty Award. In the caption to the post, the organization described Chelsea as a “vision of strength, elegance, and undeniable star power.”
The Miss Cosmo pageant coronation night is set to happen on December 20, 2025, at the Creative Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Chelsea's two special awards wins come after her recent closed-door interview at the Miss Cosmo pageant, where she wore a suit made by designer Jheboi Ramos. In the caption to the post, Chelsea wrote that she was “dressed with intention” for her closed-door interview.

Chelsea's closed-door interview comes after she placed in the top five queens for Best in Ao Dai. The top five queens were Chelsea, Miss Cosmo Peru Kelín Rivera Kroll, Miss Cosmo Bahamas Beyonce Forbes, Miss Cosmo Ecuador Alexandra Mina, and Miss Cosmo Vietnam Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh.
Before her top five placement, Chelsea secured a spot in the top 17 of the Miss Cosmo National Costume Competition. In the caption to the post, The Miss Philippines organization said that Chelsea “delivered a remarkable performance in the Sarimanok-inspired creation by ER Stephen Alvarado, showcasing its cultural beauty with grace and impact.”
Chelsea was also the first candidate among the Miss Cosmo delegates to reach a million votes for the Miss Cosmo People's Choice competition.
Other Filipina beauty queens that have recently made waves in the international pageant scene include current reigning Miss Universe Philippines Ahtisa Manalo, who clinched the third runner-up position in the Miss Universe pageant. Ahtisa also recently had two homecoming parades held in her honor.
