Cherie Gil's greatest influencer is none other than her father, veteran actor and singer Eddie Mesa.
In an interview during the StarStruck mediacon held last June 10, the actress shared the most important lesson she learned from her dad.
"Faith in God and in Jesus Christ, that's the greatest lesson [I learned] and many many others but that primarily, and everything else follows.
"He became a different person after that," Cherie said.
Eddie Mesa turned 80 last February 18.
He is dubbed as the Elvis Presley of the Philippines.
