Chesca Garcia-Kramer shares the keys to a successful marriage.
Sa labing-tatlong taong pagsasama bilang mag-asawa, paano nga ba napapanatili nina Chesca at Doug Kramer ang kanilang magandang relasyon?
Ayon kay Chesca, sa buhay mag-asawa, hindi maiiwasan na magkaroon ng tampuhan, sisihan, at mga away. Pero sa kabila nito, patuloy rin silang nagpapatawad.
"If you see a married couple still in love through the years, you may think how lucky they are. But in marital relations, there is no such thing as luck," pagbabahagi ni Chesca tungkol sa buhay ng isang mag-asawa.
Dagdag niya, "They made compromises, they overlooked each other's faults. They forgave many mistakes and endured many problems. They spent years learning to understand each other."
Para kay Chesca, hindi nababatay sa swerte ang pag-ibig at tagal ng isang relasyon. Ito ay ang pagkakaroon ng mahabang pasensya, parehong pangarap, pagbibigayan, respeto, pag-aalaga, at pagpapatawad.
"At the end of the day, choosing, and loving each other, and making the marriage work is always a choice," sulat ni Chesca.
Ikinasal sina Chesca at Doug noong October 9, 2008 at ngayon ay mayroon ng tatlong anak na sina Kendra, Scarlett, at Gavin.
