Chesca Garcia on her daughter Kendra: “This once chubby baby is now becoming her own lady.”
Celebrity mom Chesca Garcia-Kramer took to Instagram to share her thoughts about her daughter Kendra who is now all grown up.
In her social media post, Chesca shared photos of Kendra looking like a fine young lady wearing her blue, long, and flowy dress. Along with these photos is her message to her daughter.
“Time has no mercy... I blinked and suddenly she is all grown. This once chubby baby is now becoming her own lady,” Chesca wrote in her post.
The actress and mom shared that she became really worried and a bit emotional, as Kendra leaves home alone for the first time for their school trip.
“Kendra, this school year has taught me that it's not easy to let you go. I cried for days when you left for your first outdoor trip to school. It was the very first time you were away from mommy and daddy. I also counted the hours till you got back from your day trip. And, even on your last overnight retreat I still couldn't sleep and couldn't wait for morning to come for you to get home. There is no getting used to this. I simply am not ready,” she shared.
According to Chesca, she is not yet ready for her daughter to become a young adult as she soon leaves middle school and will start being away from her soon after middle school and will start to be away from their home often.
“Now that you're bidding your last 2 weeks of middle school goodbye for high school. I can't help but hold you a bit longer, hold you a bit tighter, and soak all the great things about having you as my daughter. You're surely growing up but in mommy's eyes, you will always be my baby. Pls don't be a moody teenager who gets annoyed easily,” she stated.
She added, “I can't believe I'll have to go through this two times over! You're just the start. I still have Scarlett and Gavin. Will I ever get over being such a dramatic mother?”
In the said post, Chesca also reminds her daughter Kendra how beautiful she is inside and out.
“Ps. You looked lovely today baby, you always do! You look lovely because of who you're inside! That's what I love best about you! @kramer.kendra,” she claimed.
Recently, Kendra also shared on Instagram a photo of herself beside her very first car at the age of 13.
“I feel like crying! My very first car!!” she wrote in her caption.
