Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda expressed gratitude to fans who rocked with them at their first international gig in Dubai, two years after the (coronavirus) COVID-19 pandemic.
In an Instagram post, Chito detailed their experience performing before a live audience after a long period of break. Apparently, despite doing the live scene for over two decades, their two-year rest took still took toll on their performance that they struggled the entire time.
"Salamat, Dubai," he shared. "We struggled the whole set, we were rusty and unsure and I had the worst case of stomach cramps the entire time dahil sa sobrang kaba. May mga instances pa kanina na muntik na ko mamatay."
Thankfully, the electrified audience helped ease out the anxiety.
"Pero di niyo kami pinabayaan, sinamahan niyo kami hanggang dulo," he said.
"Kahit puro sabit at sablay niyakap niyo kami ng todo. Tunay ang pagmamahal ninyo. Kasi kahit hindi kami 'perfect,' tinanggap niyo kami ng buong-buo," he added.
"Mahal na mahal din namin kayo," he ended.
