Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda is happy to return home after their arduous journey during the onslaught of Typhoon Kristine last week.
On Facebook last October 22, the OPM band informed their fans that they were stranded in Sorsogon after doing a gig at the Kasanggayahan Festival.
Chito posted on Instagram last October 25 that he is now with his family and shared what they went through.
He recalled, “After being stranded for days in Sorsogon, after attempting to land thrice in Manila, and being temporarily redirected to Kalibo, and after being stuck sa SLEX for more than 4hrs dahil sa baha, sa wakas, bahay na ko.
“Thank You, Lord, for keeping us safe and healthy, and for bringing us back home safely to our families.️ You Da Best.”
The OPM icon also expressed his gratitude to everyone who ensured they could safely return amid the inclement weather.
“Salamat sa Captain at sa Crew ng flight namin for making sure that everyone was safe and comfortable during the 45min flight na naging 5hrs.
Chito said.
