Chito Miranda to Parokya Ni Edgar: "Walang iwanan sa Parokya. Rakenrol!"

Chito Miranda endeared TV viewers when he became a coach on the recent reality competition program, The Voice Generations.

Before that, he was also a mentor for another singing competition, Idol Philippines Season 2.

However, this famous artist originally gained fame as the frontman of the popular Filipino band, Parokya Ni Edgar. Together with his bandmates, they produced many hit songs like "Harana," "Inuman na," "Gitara," and others.

Recently, Chito expressed his enduring loyalty to the band. On Instagram, he posted a picture of himself with a heartfelt message, hinting at his return to focus on future activities with Parokya Ni Edgar.

Chito began his message by sharing how much he misses his fellow The Voice Generations stars: Julie Anne San Jose, SB19's Stell, Billy Crawford, and Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes. He also mentioned his other celebrity friends Gary V and Regine Velasquez.

"Nami-miss ko na si Stell, si Jules, si Billie at si Dingdong. Nami-miss ko na rin si Ate Reg, si Sir Gary, si Robi, and sige na nga...pati si Moi." he wrote.

The artist shared his enjoyment of being a judge or coach on talent shows. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity and happiness of meeting new friends through these programs.

Despite his positive experiences, Chito has decided to pause his solo career to focus more on the band.

"Pero, kahit sobrang solid ng experience, the schedule takes too much time away from my band. Dami ko kelangan i-give up na gigs, and ayoko maging unfair sa mga kabanda ko," he said.

He explained that he wanted to be fair to his bandmates and help them as a team.

"I could continue doing TV shows and make money for myself and my family, or I could prioritize our gigs instead, and make enough money for everyone on our team, including their families," he added.

Chito clarified that it isn't all about the money, but about doing what they love as a band.

"Playing gigs is such a big part of our lives. That is who we are, and that is what we love doing," Chito explained.

He also mentioned his desire for a more relaxed schedule to spend more time with his family and bandmates.

"Right now, nasa point ako ng buhay ko na mas trip ko na tumambay lang kasama ng pamilya ko, at tumugtog kasama ng mga kabanda ko."

Chito ended his message on a heartfelt note, "Walang iwanan sa Parokya. Rakenrol."
